Guo Jidong, Dean of the School of Foreign Languages
Ph.D., professor, master tutor. He once studied at Jilin University, Shanghai International Studies University and the University of Arizona. His research interests include second language acquisition, applied linguistics and translation theory. He has presided over more than 10 projects of various types, published more than 40 papers in professional journals such as language, education and social sciences, published 2 monographs, and edited 7 textbooks and collections of papers; Due to Relevant achievements, he got Zhejiang University scientific research achievements awards and other great awards. He currently presides over the National Social Science, Humanities and Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education and the Zhejiang Social Science Project, mainly engaged in foreign language learning psychology and translation ethics research. He is responsible for the overall administrative work of the School of Foreign Languages, and is responsible for disciplines, personnel, finance, scientific research, professional construction, postgraduate enrollment and training.
